Wes Fischer

Founder and Managing Partner

With more than three decades of experience in the health insurance industry, Wes Fischer is one of Florida’s leading experts in the industry. As Founder and Managing Partner of Health Insurance Store, Wes Fischer oversees the daily operations of the company.

Prior to founding Health Insurance Store, Wes worked for Price Waterhouse and Ernst & Whinney as an auditor and consultant for health care providers. He was Florida Hospital Association’s VP of Shared Services specializing in self-funded and employee benefit plans for health care providers. Wes founded Health Insurance Store in 1992 and in 2020 the agency partnered with the Integrity Marketing Group. Wes is a passionate visionary in helping agents and agencies in implementing innovative approaches in serving their clients.

 

Wes graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree of Finance from Florida International University and earned an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. Wes lives in Kissimmee, Florida with his wife, Vicki. His daughter, Cassandra Fischer, oversees all marketing efforts of the agency.

Cassandra Fischer 

VP Marketing & Business Development

Cassandra joined the agency full-time in 2014 and has over twenty years of experience in business, management, sales, marketing, and advertising. Cassandra oversees the company’s marketing and advertising along with sales initiatives and sales support for agents.. She loves providing agents with the powerful tools they need to succeed. Cassandra specializes in strategic marketing and business development in the Medicare and Individual market. She helps independent agents develop marketing strategies and build their personal brand in the community to be successful in all markets.

Cassandra Fischer has an active 215 broker license since 2008. She graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Rollins College in Winter Park. In her free time, Cassandra coaches ice skating professionally and performs salsa across the country.

Jeannette Tavarez

VP of Finance and Operations

Jeannette joined the company in 2014. She has over twenty years of experience in business management, operations, and accounting. Nine years at the company has given Jeannette an in-depth knowledge of the industry and with her expertise she currently oversees finance, commissions, accounting, IT, our CRM, and MA enrollment platforms.

 

Additionally, she works closely with our access centers, ensuring their success by focusing on the operational functions to free up the brokers time to focus on selling and increasing their book of business. 

Jeannette lives with her son in Kissimmee and volunteers at her local church.

Dee Cintron 

Executive Administrator

Dee joined Health Insurance Store customer service in 2001. She has almost twenty-five years of business management experience. Dee has had many roles in the organization throughout the years which allow her to have a greater understanding of the inter-workings of the agency. Her experience is in sales, commissions, certifications, compliance, security, contracting, enrollment, training, and operations. She currently is focusing on operations and working with the senior leadership team. Dee is the executive administrator to Wes Fischer, our founder and managing partner.

Dee has been a licensed agent since 2007.

Dee resides in Orlando with her husband Rafael and their G
oldendoodle, Chewy. They raised three children, Alexis, Johnathan, and Samantha, whom live in Kissimmee.

Carla Aragon

HR/Customer Experience Manager

Carla joined The Health Insurance Store Team in 2012. She has twenty years of experience in business management, payroll, accounting, and taxes. Carla oversees accounting, compliance, and human resources. Carla supports the company's internal operations by bridging all departments in developing strategies to optimize daily operations and develop the highest level efficiency possible within our organization.

 

Carla resides in Kissimmee with her husband, Andres, their three children, and Labradoodle. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. 

Kiara Urraca

Senior Agency Manager

Kiara joined the Health Insurance Store in 2018 with ten years of management, sales, and training experience. Kiara oversees contracting, training, certifications, recruiting, and supplies. Her team assist agents with sales support to ensure their success and thrive in the industry. 

Kiara graduated with a Bachelor's in Business and Organizational Leadership from Valencia College. She became a licensed agent in 2018. 

Kiara lives in Kissimmee with her son, Josiah, who loves to play soccer.

Elias Nieves

Sales Operation Data Manager

Elias joined Health Insurance Store in 2014 and has over twenty years of experience in business management, accounting, finance, and IT. Elias oversees the commissions department and our MA enrollment department. He specializes in data analysis, commission reconciliation, and creation of web tools for data workflows. Elias provides training on methods and tools that help agents audit their commissions and track their book of business.

 

Elias graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico.

Elias has been playing piano and composing music for over 30 years. He plays music in his church and performs around the country.

Beticia Garcia 

Marketing Supervisor 

Beticia joined the agency in 2011 with prior experience working at an access center. She has over 12 years of industry experience specializing in sales support and marketing. Beticia helps agents grow their book of business by supporting their sales and marketing initiatives. She is an instrumental part of the marketing team and we are fortunate to have her at the agency.

Beticia is married with two children. She lives in Orlando with their two pets, a Fawn Chihuahua, and a Green Cheeked Conure. She enjoys bicycling and outdoors activities with her family.
